Dog Walking

Does your dog need a mid-day break during the week?  We will come by Monday through Friday, or any combination of weekdays, and take your dog for a walk or let him or her out in the back yard to get some exercise and, most importantly, a potty break. 

20 minutes --- $16 (for 1-2 dogs); $3 each additional dog
45 minutes --- $32 (for 1-2 dogs); $6 each additional dog

 

Dog Running

Does your dog need a vigorous workout? Give your energetic dog the pleasure of a new trend; dog running!  An experienced runner will take your dog for a nice long run through the neighborhood or park. Dogs must be well behaved and conditioned for this type of service.

Community Rates

Do you live in a Townhouse, Condo, or Apartment community? Spread the word about PetCare Group and you can get lower rates.  For our 20 minute mid-day dog walks, if we have any 3 or more clients on any given day in the same community, within the same time frame, rates are as follows:

3-5 Clients --- $15 per client (for 1-2 dogs); $3 each additional dog
6-9 Clients --- $14 per client (for 1-2 dogs); $3 each additional dog
10+ Clients --- $13 per client (for 1-2 dogs); $3 each additional dog

45 minute walks are available.  Group walks with other dogs are available as long as dogs know each other and all clients approve.

Going on vacation?  Business trip?  Want to catch a ball game or go out to dinner?  You need a House Call!  A PetCare Group representative will come to your home and feed your pet, refill water, exercise or play with your pet, and give lots of attention. 

30 minutes --- $18 (for 1-2 pets); $3 each additional pet

PetCare Group now offers in-homeDog Training Classesto teach your dog the basic skills required to be a considerate canine companion. Basic training skills in the Civilized Canine Program include loose-leash walking, Sit, Down, Leave It, Drop It, Off, Heel, Stay, and Come (the most vital command that could save your dog's life). We will teach your dog to listen and respond to your commands the first time you say it, every time.

Medication Administration

Giving medication can be stressful and dangerous to the pet and the administrator. Knowing that a qualified and experienced pet sitter can comfortably administer medications is crucial to your pet's health while you are away. There is no charge for medication given in food or treats.

Pills - $2 per pet per administration
Injections - $5 per pet per administration
Subcutaneous Fluids - $10 (longer visits may be required)

 

Pet Waste Removal

We offer professional pet waste removal services to clean your yard of dog waste.  Services can be arranged as needed or on a regular schedule.  Prices are based on properties up to half an acre (grassy areas only – additional fees may apply for complex landscaping). 

Call for estimates on larger yards, additional dogs, days per week, or commercial properties.

Overnight Stays

On some occasions, overnight stays are necessary to prevent any accidents and also to give your pet extra attention. Don’t forget about the rest of the day between 7am – 9pm.

Overnight Stay (9pm-7am): $70 (1-2 pets); $10 each additional pet
Extended Overnight Stay (6pm-7am): Starting at $125

 

Puppy Playtime @ the Park

Want to let your dog get some fresh air at the park? We can take your dog to the park for a one hour of good exercise and playtime. Transportation is included. Puppy Playtime @ The Park can be a great opportunity for your pet to play with and meet other dogs. Limit of 3 dogs per trip.

$40 (1-2 dogs); $6 each additional dog

 

Doggie Baths

Your dog(s) will be washed in your own home! You must provide your own cleansers, towels and other supplies, but you do not need to be home during this service.

Pet Taxi

General transportation can be arranged if you need to take your dog to your veterinarian, the groomer, to PETsMART, or to a friend's house.

Shopping Services

If you're stuck at work or out of town and your pet's food, medication, or other supplies run out, shopping services are available. We'll re-stock your food and other pet needs.  Shopping Services are also applicable if supplies run out during services for vacation visits or other series of House Calls.

Payment Policy

Dog Walking: Invoices are sent out once per month via email, on the 1st of the month for the previous month’s services. Payment is due by the 7th. You can choose to mail a check (made out to PetCare Group) or pay with a major credit card through PayPal or over the phone. A 5% processing fee will be applied to all credi card payments. If payment is not received by the 7th of each month by either check or credit card, a late fee of $25 per week will be applied to your account.

Pet Sitting: Payment is due when your request for services is confirmed by the office. You can choose to mail a check (made out to PetCare Group) or pay with a major credit card through PayPal or over the phone. A 5% processing fee will be applied to all credit card payments.  Payment is due within 7 days of your confirmation. If we do not receive payment within 7 days, we hold the right to cancel your reservation to make accommodations for other paying clients. If you are placing a last minute reservation (within 2 days of service or within 7 days of a holiday), we require placing immediate payment on your account via credit card. Please do not leave payment for your sitter to pick up.

For any type of service, you may find it convenient (especially for last minute and emergency services) to leave your credit card information on file at the office so that all services can be automatically charged to your credit card. Payment confirmation emails will automatically be sent to your email address when payment is charged for services. Please contact us for details.

 

Last Minute Services

If you're stuck at work and can't get home in time to let your dog out, give us a call. We usually can accommodate Last Minute Services. What constitutes last minute? We require at least 2 days notice for clients to request a visit, and one week for services that include a holiday. If the reservation is made on the day of or day before the requested service (and within one week of a holiday), a fee will be applied to those services that fall within the Last Minute time frame. Please note that you must let us know by 9pm two days prior to requested services (seven days notice before a holiday) to avoid the fee.  Last Minute Services are subject to scheduling constraints, and clients might not receive the desired time slot or a lengthy visit.

Cancellation Policy

Dog Walking: To cancel a scheduled mid-day dog walk, please call or email the office before 9:00pm on the day prior to scheduled service. If you cancel before 9:00pm, no cancellation fee is charged. If you call or email after 9:00pm, or if you do not notify the office and your sitter arrives at your home for your scheduled service, you are charged in full for the visit or visits for that day. Please do not call between 9pm and 7am. If you forget, we will unleash our rabid ninja kittens to bite your ankles.

Pet Sitting: A 2 day (7 days for reservations that include a holiday) notice is required and appreciated to cancel a scheduled reservation. Please note that you must let us know of the cancellation by 9pm two days prior to scheduled services (7 days for reservations that include a holiday) to avoid cancellation fees. Any notice less than this will be subject to the following Cancellation Policy:

If you cancel your reservation more than 2 days (7 days for reservations that include a holiday) before your scheduled services, your account will be credited for the full amount paid for services. Refunds are not given at any time, but you will receive a credit for future services. Your credit will be confirmed via email.

If you cancel your reservation less than 2 days (7 days for reservations that include a holiday) before your scheduled services, your account will be charged with 25% of the reservation fee. The remaining balance paid will be applied as a credit to your account. Refunds are not given at any time, but you will receive a credit for future services. Your credit will be confirmed via email.

If you are home during a scheduled visit and neglect or forget to cancel and your sitter arrives at your home, the full price of the service will be charged. Any visits canceled on the day of service will be charged in full.  If you cancel any part of your scheduled reservation, such as ending the reservation early, you ware responsible for the entire initial reservation fee. No refunds or credits will be issued.

Out of Area Services

If you are really in a crunch, we may be able to assist you. We can, depending on our schedule, service other nearby areas for an extra fee per visit.

Holiday Surcharge

We can accommodate holiday pet sitting and dog walking. However, there is a small fee attached to each service. Listed below are the holidays in which you will find the Holiday Fee:

Key Pickup/Return

Two working copies of your key are due at the time of your Service Consultation. If only one working copy of your key is provided at this time, you will be charged an additional $10 as a key copying fee.

We can also provide an emergency locksmith service if necessary. Fees are charged as necessary based on location and time of day.

A key pick-up or drop-off fee of $10 applies each time you need us to make a visit to pick up a new key or drop off a key after service.
